Overview checklist:

• Create the app
• Add endpoints, images, and copy, and set to public
• Copy app secret to application.rb
• Set as facebook_active = true on live site
• Test that it works [TODO: Update this]

To create the app

• https://developers.facebook.com
• Apps->create new
• Display Name: "POWr Form Builder"
• Namespace: powr-form-builder
• Category: Apps for Pages

Set up settings

• Click settings on left
• Add platform -> Page Tab
• Page Tab Name: POWr Form Builder (this is what end users see)
• Page Tab URL: https://www.powr.io/plugins/form-builder/facebook_view/
• Secure Page Tab URL: https://www.powr.io/plugins/form-builder/facebook_view/
• Page Tab Edit URL: [need a landing page for this]
• Page Admin Control: On
• Wide Page Tab: Depends on app (do you want it to be 520px or 810px)
• Page Tab Image: 111 x 74 pixels. File size limit 1 MB
• Copy app secret into array in config/application.rb

Add app details (Note: probably don't need this unless app is in app store)

• Tagline
• Short Description (copy and paste from asana copy)
• Long Description (copy and paste from asana copy)
• Explanation for Permissions: No Facebook Permissions required!
• Privacy Policy URL:
• Terms of Service URL:
• User support email: [email protected]
• User Support URL:

Assets required:

• 111 x 74 pixels images for all apps for facebook critical
• Below probably not needed unless in app store
• Logo: 1024x1024
• Icon: 16x16
• Web Banner: 155x100
• Cover Image: 800x150
• Small editors pick (opt): 180x115
• Large editors pick (opt): 394x150

Notes:

• See this: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/games/appcenter/guidelines. Page Tab apps are NOT currently eligible for App Center, so we will not be located in app center, which is strange.
