Step 4 - QA
*Make sure EVERY SINGLE item has been checked off this list before publishing an email. If an edit is made, go back through each of the steps.*
Step 1​
- Is your email layout correct?
- Are there any typos?
- Has the image/GIF been optimized?
- Has the email been tested in Litmus? Does it look good in all email clients?
- Have you checked the layout on mobile? Does the layout look as expected?
Step 2​
Make sure you're logged in to POWr:
- Do all the links take you to the expected location?
- Are images clickable and do they take you to the expected location?
- Do all the buttons take you to the expected location?
- Does the unsubscribe link work?
- Are any discounts/promotions/credits correctly applied?
Step 3​
Log out of POWr (testing that 'friendly forward is enabled):
- Do all the links take you to the expected location?
- Are images clickable and do they take you to the expected location?
- Do all the buttons take you to the expected location?
- Does the unsubscribe link work?
- Are any discounts/promotions/credits correctly applied?
Step 4​
- Are the sending queries correct?
- Have you excluded any necessary platforms? ECWID MUST BE EXCLUDED FROM ALL CAMPAIGN EMAILS.
- Have you excluded free/trial apps (if necessary)?
- Are the delays correct?
- Is the sender displaying correctly (NOT [email protected], we want it to display a name)
- Has an engineer checked your SQL?
If the answer to all of these is YES, you are ready to push live.
*ALWAYS ping the Support channel after email updates are made so that they are aware and can look out for any issues.*
Testing on Production​
- Send a test email from www.powr.io/admin/powr-mail-marketing.
- Send Litmus test:

- Send a test email to [email protected]
- Go to Litmus.com and login as Ben (LastPass login).
- Check how the email looks in different clients.
- Correct any necessary issues.
