Step 3 - Create Your Emails

Click '+ Add email' in the Emails tab.

This will add the first email in your campaign:

You can set a delay here for the email. For example, if you are creating 4 emails in your campaign the recipient conditions would be the same, but you will want to send email 1 on day 1, email 2 on day 2, email 3 on day 3 etc. For email 2 you would set a delay of 1 (1 day after query), for email 3 you would set a delay of 2 (2 days after query) etc.

If you leave 'delay' blank, it will be the index of the email - first email sends 0 days after query, second email sends after one day, third email sends after 2 days etc.

Customize your email​

Click 'Customize Email' and you will be redirected to the glorious POWrZilla!

To edit your subject line etc., click 'Edit Settings':

In this panel you can customize the following:

From Name - This is the name that will show up in the recipient's inbox. We are currently using Pascal from POWr:

Reply To Email - this is where recipients responses will be sent. Subject Line - 'Here's a great Pro Tip for your Form Builder!' in the screenshot above. Preheader - 'Get the most out of your new Form Builder!' in the screenshot above.

Using Substitution Data​

Substitution data is used for dynamic content within emails e.g. if you want to automatically insert the user's last saved app in the subject line, preheader or main body of the email.

In the text element you can find a dropdown that includes a list of all possible substitution data. This should be added to your desired location within three curly brackets e.g. {first_name}.

Most frequently used substitution data:​

firstname e.g. Bob. If missing, will be replaced with 'Hi'. platform e.g. Shopify. N.B._ This pulls in the feature listed in app__details for each app:
