Facebook A member of the marketing team will grant you admin privileges, so you can manage POWr’s profile from your personal account.

Managing the content calendar​

The content calendar can be found in Google Drive under Master POWrâź¶Marketingâź¶Content Marketing

This is where we schedule content for each platform (i.e. blog posts, social media posts, podcasts, etc.).

In addition to filling the content calendar, there are several tabs you can update as needed including:

  • Blogs - here is where you’ll add info for all blogs: guest posts (by us or others) and POWr articles.
  • Content by quarter - for tracking content that we produce each quarter (blogs, podcasts, case studies, etc.).
  • Content Ideas - If you have any ideas for content, this is the place for it.

Scheduling Posts in Buffer​

Login to Buffer Select the text box:

Select the platforms you want to post on:

Write out your blurb:

  • Each platform has their own character limits:
    • Facebook: 63,206 (ha!)
    • Twitter: 280
    • LinkedIn: 1300

You’ll want to customize the message for each post to best reach audiences on those platforms.

  • Facebook and Linkedin messaging can be more similar, but remember that LinkedIn is a professional network, so you’ll need to keep that in mind.
  • Twitter--be concise and use relevant hashtags for optimum reach.
  • Images - link previews perform better on LinkedIn and Facebook, so if you can utilize those, that’s best. For image sizing, check out the social media guide.

Once you’ve customized your message and uploaded your image for each platform, schedule your post (reference the social media guide for insight into best posting times for each platform):
