How to update Shopify App Store Listings:

Go to** **http://partners.shopify.com and log in with the email [email protected]. The password is available in LastPass.

Once you're logged in, select the last partner account at the bottom of the list:

Once you're in the account, go to Apps (located on the right):

Then, select the POWr plugin that you would like to update from the list of apps:

After the particular plugin is chosen, go to "App actions" and select "Edit Shopify App Store listing" from the drop-down:

Good to know:​

  • Testimonials or user reviews not allowed in app description or screenshots
  • Screenshots should not be too similar to each other and must include actual screenshots of the app in action
  • Support email, although not a required field, has to be listed. Use [email protected]
  • For website link, use https://help.powr.io
  • Leave phone number field blank
  • Include a link to our privacy policy: https://www.powr.io/privacy
  • When editing the app listing, do not open multiple apps in different browser tabs. Changes you make to one app will appear in the other app’s listing!
  • Shopify no longer allows HTML and emojis or formatting for bold, italics, strikethrough or underline.
  • Shopify does not allow any links to our Help Center within the description. Should go into designated Sales & Support section only.
  • DO NOT MENTION PAYMENT OPTIONS in feature listings/pricing table (PAYPAL)
  • Can add image alt text.
  • Shopify now has a designated section (5.) for a demo URL. Use one from www.powr.io/demos. If one doesn’t exist, create a new one.
  • Make sure you add our GA tracking tag: UA-63593465-1

Testing notes to provide for Shopify:​

SETUP INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Go to the App Store listing.
  2. Click "Get".
  3. You should be prompted to sign in to your store. Confirm your store address.
  4. You should be taken to the install page. Confirm your installation.
  5. You should be redirected to the POWr Editor for the app you just installed.
  6. Add content and design changes to your app.
  7. Save the app.
  8. You should see a page with embed instructions. Select a location and confirm the embed.
  9. View your page to see the app on your storefront.

EDIT INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In the Shopify Apps dashboard, select the POWr app.
  2. You should be taken to your POWr dashboard.
  3. Edit your existing app, or create a new app.

UPGRADE INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In the Shopify Apps dashboard, select the POWr app.
  2. You should be taken to your POWr dashboard.
  3. Click "Upgrade" to open the pricing table.
  4. Choose a plan.
  5. You should be prompted to pay via Shopify and be redirected to the Shopify checkout page.
  6. Confirm the payment. Your app is immediately upgraded.

To update screenshots, go to Screenshots and remove the existing images by clicking on the blue "x" in the upper right-hand corner of each image:

You can also change the text for each image by clicking the blue "x" above each caption.

After you've removed the images, you can then upload the new images that are saved to your device and click on the green button that says "Submit Changes":

You can also preview your changes before or after you save it.

After that, you're done!
