Redirect reviews for Product Hunt
Background: We will be launching on Product Hunt on Tuesday, October 15th. On the day of launch, we would like to redirect all review links to our Product Hunt page.
Eng notes: I recommend creating a branch with code to push this and then revert the code next day. I don’t want to leave in the date query mess to clean up for another day.
Changes to Emoji feedback on install page
✅Scenario: change the title of emoji review drilldown to “How about giving us feedback on Product Hunt?”
Given the date is October 15th 2019 (only one day)
And a user is on any platform, even if they have no platform selected
When the user has clicked the positive smiley face in the emoji feedback modal on install page
Then they should see updated title in the drilldown
Text should change from “How about leaving a review?” to “How about giving us feedback on Product Hunt?”
✅Scenario: change the review link from Platform pages to Product hunt page
Given the date is October 15th 2019 (only one day)
And a user is on any platform, even if they have no platform selected
And a user has clicked the positive smiley face in the emoji feedback modal on install page
When they click on the leave feedback option (“Ok, Sure!” button)
Then they will be redirected to the Product Hunt page (Link will be available after October 10th)
Changes to Progress bar and checklist tooltip on dashboard and other places
Currently the progress bar and checklist tooltip is a running AB, so the following changes apply only for group B
Scenario: User clicks “Leave a review” in getting started list when they only have one app type saved (it does not need to be published)
Given the date is October 15th 2019 (only one day)
And a user is in group B
And the user is on any platform, even if they have no platform selected
And the user has one app type saved
When they click on “Leave a review” in getting started list
Then the drilldown content will display
And the sub title will say “Show POWr some love on Product Hunt!”
And there will be a button to leave a review that says ‘Join the conversation’
Scenario: User clicks “Leave a review” in getting started list when they have multiple app types saved
Given the date is October 15th 2019 (only one day)
And a user is in group B
And the user is on any platform, even if they have no platform selected
And the user has multiple app types saved
When they click on “Leave a review” in getting started list
Then the drilldown content will display
And the sub title will say “Show POWr some love on Product Hunt!”
And there will be a button to leave a review that says ‘Join the conversation’
Note: A user can only click “Leave a review” if they have a plugin they’ve created. If they don’t have any plugins, this step is disabled/unclickable
Scenario: Group
B user clicks “Join the conversation” button in the review drilldown content (single app or multiple app types)Given the user is in Leave a review drilldown
When they click on “Join the conversation” button in the review drilldown content
Then a new tab will open
And they will be redirected to leave a review on POWr’s Product Hunt page [URL TBC by Marketing]
And the “Leave a review” list item will become checked / complete
And the progress bar will advance
