How to Upgrade a plan on Powr/Wix

  1. Log in to powr.io or powr-staging.io (depends on which environment you are trying to upgrade) with your admin account (if you don't have an admin account yet ask one of the engineers to make you an admin on powr.io and powr-staging.io).
  2. Once you are logged in, go to the https://www.powr-staging.io/admin/ scroll down to the Support tools and click on Tech Support Helper

  1. Go back to the app that you wish to Upgrade, copy the add id from the app URL (only numbers )

  2. Go back to your admin account where you have your Tech Support Helper open and paste the app id into "Enter the app id" text box> click Search.

  3. Click "Create free trial", "Give User Trial" pop up should open, enter a number of days (if you just need to test small fix enter "0") Choose the Plan that you wish to test. (Note:Premium Plan in Tech support is a Starter in Powr). ;)

  4. After you gave yourself a free trial, go back to the app that you just Upgraded and reload the page.

If you are trying to Upgrade on Wix​

  1. Log in to Powr-staging.io (if you are testing on staging)
  2. Go to http://www.powr-staging.io/admin/platform_dev_controls
  3. From the dropdown select the Wix plugin you wish to test and click “Go”
  4. Go to the wix staging> create an app
  5. Next click on https://dev.wix.com/apps/my-apps it will open in a new tab (log in with [email protected] login in LastPass)
  6. Select Wix Staging (All Apps)
  7. Click “Test App > In Editor” and select a test site to install to> Click Add to site> The app should appear in your site> Click Settings.
  8. Go back to the Powr-staging.io> You will see Wix staging app in your Plugins,open it, copy the app id.
  9. Go to your admin account where you have your Tech Support Helper open and paste the app id into "Enter the app id" text box> click Search.
  10. Click "Create free trial", "Give User Trial" pop up should open, enter a number of days, Choose the Plan that you wish to test. (Note:Premium Plan in Tech support is a Starter in Powr). ;)
  11. Go back to wix> close the Settings view and open in again.

Youw wix app should be Upgraded.
